The CSS Workbook was designed by George Nelson & Associates for Herman Miller in 1962 and is a paragon of ingenious graphic design. The single flip sheets allow to get a quick view of every possible design variant for one’s personal CSS shelving system. The Comprehensive Storage System (CSS) debuted in 1957 with a more narrower and versatile pole and similar array of components in comparison to the earlier OMNI System. The components are based on shelving, drawers, display, and lightning. CSS was George Nelon's most successful product in commercializing the storage wall concept and was produced until 1973.

Text and illustrations. Out-of-print and very uncommon. A fine copy.
